CozyMacApps exists because everyday Mac chores, such as opening an archive, should not require trusting software that shouts, upsells or snoops.
How we work
Each app starts with one job and a question: what would a careful person want to see before this happens? The answer becomes the interface. CozyZip shows you an archive before extracting it.
The apps are native, written in Swift for macOS, and are designed to sit comfortably beside Finder rather than replace it.
Who is behind it
CozyMacApps is built by a security researcher. Years of looking at how software goes wrong is the reason the apps are sandboxed, private by default and plain-spoken about risk.
